CONGRATULATIONS!!! to our CMS Eagles track team for a phenomenal showing at the DCSD Time meet on Saturday, March 8th. The CMS Eagles were ranked #1 in the county for the Co-Ed throwers relay both boys and girls.

Other team rankings were the following:
Demarco Lee threw a personal best of 22 feet in the boy's shot put, and Shallah Milo-Ross threw a personal best of 25 feet 8 inches.

For our Lady Eagles, Anjelle Phillips placed first overall in her heat in the 100-meter hurdles with 19 seconds, and Kamia Stringer placed third overall in her heat with 23 seconds.
-Molly McLaughlin placed 2nd overall in her heat for the girls 100 meters
and Alison Rice placed 3rd overall in her heat for the girl's 100 meters.
Lovette Sanders placed 2nd in her heat for the open 400 meters with 1 min 13 seconds and 1st place in the 200 meters with 30 seconds. The lady eagles continued to dominate, bringing home 3rd place in the 4x1 relays and 1st place in the girl's 4x2 relays.

Other team rankings were the following:
William Mclaughlin placed second in his 400-meter race and jumped 14 feet 9 inches in the male long jump. Emmanuel Ward placed second overall in his 800-meter race with a time of 2:44.
Shamari Jones placed 2nd overall in the 100 meters, and Kmari Jennings placed 3rd in the 100 meters and 2nd in heat in the boys' open 200 meters. The boys' 4x2 relay team placed 2nd overall with a time of 1:48, and the boys' 4x1 relay team placed 3rd.
Lastly, Dyhlen Hall jumped a personal best in the male long jump, 14 feet 8 inches.
